Eddie Klaugh’s Terminator Makes An Incredible 755RWHP On Pump Gas With Lysholm 3.3L…
When getting into the blower upgrade market, we at Lysholm expected to see some impressive combinations. We’ve seen some great ones, all making awesome power while retaining the ability to be daily driven and reliable. Then, a little birdie told us about another Terminator that was making some serious horsepower on the East Coast, and we couldn’t wait to find out more. Come to find out, it was making an insane 755RWHP while still on pump gas!
Eddie Klaugh, an auto mechanic from Eastern Virginia, is the proud owner this rocketship. Eddie and his wife Jennifer are both boost fanatics, owning several boosted vehicles over time, including multiple Vortech and Paxton Supercharged Mustangs. When it was time to upgrade the supercharger on Eddie’s 2004 Terminator Cobra, they chose to go with the 3.3L Lysholm Twin-Screw System “Because of the big 3.3 displacement, and being able to clear the stock hood without lowering the k-member. Also, owning Vortech kits on both of our other Mustangs, we knew it would be a quality product.”
When asked what they thought of the system now that it is installed, Jennifer said “First impression is this thing is a monster on the street! Can’t believe how much power it made with such a soft tune on 93 octane with low timing. It should see over 800rwhp with c16 and an aggressive tune on the same boost. Can only imagine what it would make on the 3.75 pulley we have.”
Current setup on the car includes the Lysholm 3300AX Supercharger Upgrade System, Vortech Maxflow throttle body, Vortech Maxflow 5″ air inlet with 123mm mass air housing, 6 gallon ice box with Meziere pump in trunk, LFP heat exchanger, Livernois Stage 3 cylinder heads with Ford GT cams, ARP head studs, Melling oil pump, Kooks 1 7/8″ long tube headers and 3″ exhaust, ACT twin disc clutch and 26 spline input shaft, full tubular front suspension and coil overs, Strange adjustable shocks front and rear, a built and braced 8.8 rearend, with Falken rubber 275 front & 325 rear. The results are startling…
Future plans for the Klaugh’s Terminator are to get a race gas tune and install a roll cage. They are interested in competing with the car in a few NMRA events coming up as well. Jennifer says “Eddie is the best driver I know, that’s why I married him. He is looking forward to getting the car in the 9’s with the 6 speed…it should be a 9 second Lysholm Supercharged daily driver!” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
Eddie and Jennifer wanted to give a huge thank you to Mike Rousch from Mid Atlantic Performance in Richmond, VA for “working late hours getting our cars tuned around our crazy schedules”.
